At coolgreens our daily in house prep means our menu is food-focused, chef-driven, delicious and packed with flavor. We’ve grown from “mostly salads” to what we are now: an innovator in healthy-to-you foods, from salads, sandwiches, flatbreads, grain bowls and more – inspiring our customers to lead an active lifestyle and to drive healthy communities.

Founded in 2009, at a time when there were few, if any, quick, fresh and delicious dining options, we filled a void in the healthy dining landscape. Because of the success we have seen inspiring our local customers to lead and live a healthy lifestyle we are committed to providing ‘more than’ – more than just a high quality, fresh and natural dining experience. We offer menus that cater to all lifestyles. More than a quick service restaurant; we are dedicated to making the markets that we server better places to live. More than a chain; we align ourselves with partners who are passionate about serving and educating their communities on the benefits of healthy living.

With 9 years of in store operation experience, we have continually refined our procedures, proven our systems, and simplified our buildout and equipment requirements. By designing for throughput and efficiency, our footprint of 167m² to 222 m² (1,800 – 2,400 sf) allows us to maximize ROI and minimize buildout time & cost. With more than 8 years of in store operational experience prior to franchising, we have proven our model with success and can now share in our franchise offering.

Training for new Franchisees will be completed at one of our certified training stores (as geographically appropriate for new location). Our training program can be modified to meet the needs of the Franchisee based on prior experience and the skill set of the team being trained.  Franchisees can expect to spend 4-6 weeks at the certified training store.

Pre-Opening Support and Opening Assistance will be provided by our corporate training team for any new franchised location. Assistance with site selection, layout and design, marketing and grand opening, etc are provided.

Ongoing support will consist of onsite training at your new location, weekly and monthly calls covering a wide range of topics from hiring and training, supply chain, operations, and marketing.

The coolgreens franchise team will visit each location a minimum of 3 times per year completing quality audits and other programs designed to validate the health of the operation while supporting our brand vision and playing the role of teacher and student as we grow the brand.

We will utilize online learning management systems as a supplement for continued spot training, in store new employee training, as well as new menu item rollouts.

  • Coolgreens unique menu offerings means we attract a wider base of customers in both dayparts. Unique in a down the line fast casual concept.
  • Coolgreens proteins, flatbreads, and sandwiches are prepared in a conveyor belt pizza oven that is designed to eliminate the need for an expensive hood or Ansul system. This allows Coolgreens to enter markets previously unavailable to most fast casual/qsr restaurants.
  • By utilizing one piece of cooking equipment we have simplified restaurant operations. This allows for less training, more customer throughput, and a quicker ROI.
  • Coolgreens units are designed to bring much of our fresh vegetable preparation to the front counter allowing our guests to visually see our products being prepared. We do not hide our prep area in the kitchen out of guest’s sight. This allows our guest’s to connect with our brand and culture, as well as the food they are consuming. In doing so, we earn a larger core customer base, and more brand loyalty.
  • Flexible layout specifications with a range in size from 167m² -222 m² (1800 – 2400 sqft). Smaller footprints can be designed to accommodate a modular system based on the needs of the space, as small as 60m².
  • Proven systems developed over 9 years of store operations. We are franchising because of the continued requests from our customers to do so, instead of starting our concept back in 2009 with the intention of franchising!
