In 1988, Dippin’ Dots Founder Curt Jones changed the way the world enjoys ice cream. Jones, a microbiologist, pioneered the process of cryogenic encapsulation... a scientific way of saying he used super-cold freezing methods to make little beads of ice cream. Not only were the ice cream beads delicious and fun to eat, Jones knew that flash-freezing the ice cream ingredients would lock in flavor and freshness.

Including national, local, franchising, and distribution locations we have over 8,900 points of presence in the US.

With those qualities established, Dippin’ Dots' popularity skyrocketed, and the ice cream now has a home in thousands of locations worldwide, including theme parks, fairs & festivals and franchised store locations. Dippin’ Dots are sold in 9 countries, across 5 continents and are pure frozen deliciousness, delivered one yummy spoonful at a time!

Training & Support

Dippin’ Dots will provide marketing material and work with the Licensee to launch the brand in their country. Dippin’ Dots will provide on-site training and a yearly corporate staff visit to the market, which is a fee paid by the Licensee.

  • Dippin’ Dots are known as the original premiere cryogenically frozen beaded ice cream and novelty product.
  • Dippin’ Dots product line includes frozen beads of ice cream, sherbets, yogurt, and ice products and can be used to make sundaes, floats and milkshakes.
 

Investor Profile
Master Licensee will have the following capabilities:

  1. Investor to manufacture, distribute, and retail Dippin’ Dots in both corporate and franchise systems. Capital investment expected at around $7.5 million USD for manufacturing and market development.
  2. 5+ years of food service industry experience
  3. Good knowledge of import laws and regulations, specifically dairy
  4. Working knowledge of handling sensitive food products
  5. International Licence Fee: Upon Application
