LATIN ARTISTRY

The backbone of IZEL is Latin Artistry, the decor is warm, contemporary Latin and sophisticated in design. The color palette is golden liquid rum, deep Latin orange sunset and crisp brown tobacco leaves. The tables are spaciously laid out for intimacy, privacy and to allow a direct viewing line to the stage and dance floor. Some areas provide more privacy and are in less direct view from the stage.

The unique warm colored materials and atmospheric lighting add to the slick yet mature atmosphere with the dramatic city skyline as a backdrop. The exclusive setting feels almost surreptitious and creates a day and night environment for its discerning patrons to dine and play uninterrupted with the city at comfortable distance.

The service is 'casual confident' delivered by a uniquely developed knowledgeable and charismatic service team sourced locally and internationally.

THE FOOD

The IZEL menu is an uncomplicated yet exciting array of dishes, which are ingredient led with big flavors and creative finishing. The food offering in broad celebrates old and new world flavors throughout Latin America using modern cookery techniques and styles, which reflect a cutting edge cuisine. Modern interpretation of authentic regional cuisines carves structure into the food offering, where lighter contemporary dishes add focus to a more populist element to the dining experience. IZEL is "ingredient led contemporary Latin cuisine."

CIGARS

IZEL features a custom built cigar lounge and walk-in humidor, the largest of its kind in a restaurant environment. The world class glass walk-in humidor boasts a broad selection of hundreds of cigars with 15 to 20 small private lockable humidors for VIP and profile guests.

ENTERTAINMENT

IZEL features live entertainment and DJ seven nights a week as well as semi-live DJ sets on occasional nights. Some of the live entertainment takes reference in the many different Latin musical genres such as Merengue, Bachata, Salsa, Bossa Nova, Nuevo Tango, Jazz as well as contemporary soft rock and pop. Most musicians and bands are young and up-and-coming from across the international scene, most with links to Latin rhythm, style and / or content. Bands play residences from four to six weeks. The entertainment schedule is core to IZEL: authentic, vibrant and tastefully chic. Programmed to suit the dynamics of every evening of the week IZEL gives a varied and interesting repertoire of entertainment.
