Cafe2U is proud to be the pioneer of the mobile coffee industry internationally. Cafe2U launched its first prototype mobile coffee vehicle in Sydney in the year 2000.
The purpose of Cafe2U is to deliver the highest quality espresso based beverages to non-traditional locations. What are non-traditional locations? Anywhere where you would not normally be able to access high quality espresso coffee and café style snacks.
Cafe2U franchisees offer a core range of café style products based around the delivery of high quality espresso coffee. Franchisees concentrate on establishing a daily route within their territory, focusing on businesses located in commercial and industrial estates. An average franchisee services between 25 and 40 businesses each day, targeting businesses with between 5 and 49 employees at each location. Franchisees generally start trading at 7am and are finished by early to mid-afternoon, although actual business hours remain at the discretion of the individual franchisee.
A second business opportunity exists for franchisees in the form of regular event work. Generally taking place on weekends, event work includes serving coffee at sporting activities, schools, community events and private functions. Event work can be a lucrative addition to a franchised business, however is entirely up to the franchisee.
In 2009, 2010 and 2011 Cafe2U was listed in the Australian Business Review Weekly (BRW) Fastest 100 franchise Systems.
In November 2010 the Cafe2U Coffee Blend was awarded a Bronze Medal at the prestigious CSR Golden Bean Coffee Roasting Awards, becoming the first ever Mobile Coffee Franchise to receive such an award.
Regional Masters are responsible for the recruitment and establishment of new Unit Franchises within their agreed region. The Regional Master is also directly responsible for the effective management and coordination of the grand opening launch for each new Unit Franchise, as well as providing on-going and localized support and development to established Unit Franchises.
It is important that our Regional Masters are successful in developing the number of Unit Franchises as quickly as possible in order to recoup their initial investment and to fund their Regional Master organisation which will include an appropriate franchisee support structure comprising Franchisee Development Managers (FDM's).
Cafe2U supports its Regional Masters by providing them with a suite of tools to assist their recruitment and selection process. Cafe2U also provides support via marketing and lead generation programs, as well as conducting Unit Franchisee Training on a national level.
Through this partnership initiative we believe that we can provide a solid foundation for both the Regional Master and Unit Franchisee growth. By working closely with our Regional Masters we will all benefit in cost reductions, new marketing initiatives, operational efficiencies and rapid Brand awareness within the United States Franchise Industry.
With the support of Cafe2U International in Sydney Australia, The Cafe2U management team has over 100 years of combined hospitality experience and over 50 years of franchise experience. Cafe2U is therefore strongly positioned to ensure that all Unit Franchisees are trained and launched correctly, and are able to continue to prosper into the future.
All Cafe2U Unit Franchisees complete a comprehensive training program conducted at our National Training Academy located in Bend, Oregon. Additional training is provided in the form of "refresher training" delivered around the country by way of one on one training with Franchisee Development Managers (FDM's).
Cafe2U introduced its "Acceleration Package" worldwide in 2009, to ensure that all new franchisees were able to hit the ground running from their very 1st day. This unique package was designed to fast-track business performance of new franchises by enabling them to reach a level of daily sales that had previously on taken up to three months on average to achieve. Our mission is to provide an environment in which our franchise partners are able to prosper from their first day, and our "Acceleration Package" has become a crucial element delivering this mission.
